WWOOF was founded in 1971 in the UK and is one of the world's first educational and cultural exchange programs. Today WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) is a global organization that connects volunteers with organic farmers and growers. WWOOFers typically work for several hours a day in exchange for food and accommodation.
